Mister Rogers shows the TV neighbors his swimming gear: goggles, swim cap, and hand fins. He demonstrates how each item is worn and then remembers a time when he went swimming with his neighbor, Jay Styperk. Jay Styperk shows Mister Rogers how to improve his stroke using fins. Maggie Stewart shows up and shows Mister Rogers the ASL sign for taking care. Mister Rogers makes a crown out of a paper bag and decorates it. He gives the crown to Jay. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Handyman Negri shows up to tell Mayor Maggie that King Friday will be late because he is still swimming. Queen Sara Saturday comes out and says that King Friday’s crown went missing while he was swimming. King Friday arrives and gives Mayor Maggie a two-sided sign to wear– one side says “royal looker” and one side says “royal finder.” Mayor Maggie decides to go and look in Westwood for the crown.
Mister Rogers shows his TV neighbors a found-object sculpture of a horse that his friend Leonard Streckfus made. Mister Rogers goes to visit Leonard Streckfus at his studio. Leonard shows Mister Rogers how he makes his sculptures. Mister Rogers goes back to his place and makes a found-object sculpture of his own. Mr. McFeely brings over a book that Mister Rogers has been wanting called “Loving” by Ann Morris. The book shows parents helping their children. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Mayor Maggie helps Prince Tuesday put on a lion’s costume which he is wearing to help him feel braver while he looks for the king’s crown. Mr. Aber shows up and tells Mayor Maggie that the Westwood sign is missing. Mr. Aber looks through a telescope and sees Lady Elaine nailing a sign to the Museum-Go-Round. Mr. Aber and Mayor Maggie go and ask Lady Elaine what she is doing. Lady Elaine is putting together a found object sharing exhibit.
Mister Rogers shows his TV neighbors an apple and apple juice. He asks if they have ever wondered how apple juice is made. Mr. McFeely arrives with a video tape: “How People Make Apple Juice.” In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday is looking for Lady Aberlin. Lady Aberlin has been working for FFTW (Food For the World). King Friday tells her that he wants her to work for CFTK (Crown for the King). Cornflake S. Pecially calls Lady Aberlin over to tell her that his new block rocker is missing. At the Museum-Go-Round, Betty Okonak Templeton is helping to prepare the Found Objects Sharing Exhibit. Lady Elaine comes out with the Block Rocker in hand and claims that Corney has “shared” it with her. Lady Elaine gives an apple to Lady Aberlin and to Neighbor Aber who soon find that the apples have been taken from Daniel’s clock. Back at the house, Marilyn Barnett shows up with her friend Todd Neufeld. Todd Neufeld demonstrates how rhythm sticks work and helps Mister Rogers try it out. Marilyn shows some exercise you can do to get ready to use rhythm sticks. Mister Rogers states that good teachers make a difference.
Mister Rogers shows his TV neighbors a paper fish his neighbor Ben Gonzales has made. Mister Rogers goes to visit Ben Gonzales at his studio. Mr. Gonzales demonstrates how paper sculptures are made. Mr. Gonzales tells Mister Rogers he can keep the paper fish and also gives him a paper bird to take home. After he leaves, Mister Rogers talks about how generous Mr. Gonzales is because he likes to share. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Edgar Cook is telling Lady Aberlin that someone has taken his royal refrigerator. Prince Tuesday is calling to Lady Aberlin from Daniel Striped Tiger’s clock. Prince Tuesday is still wearing his lion-looker costume and explains to Lady Aberlin that Daniel’s favorite truck is missing. Lady Elaine shows up with Daniel’s truck. Prince Tuesday tells her that Daniel is sad about the truck. Lady Elaine realizes that she needs to return everyone’s things. Back at the house, Mr. McFeely bring over a video showing how fig bars are made.
Mister Rogers has a hat with a crown on it and a toy truck. Mr. McFeely brings a video showing people using heavy machinery. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine is ready to return everyone’s items. King Friday does not want to leave the castle without his crown, so Lady Aberlin gives him a hat with a crown on it. The neighbors go to collect their items at the Museum-Go-Round. Everything is reluctantly returned to its rightful owners except King Friday’s crown which floats around the museum out of everyone’s reach. Finally, the crown finds its way to King Friday’s head, and everyone is invited to celebrate in the castle’s C Room. Bill Nye visits Mister Rogers and does a science experiment.
