Mister Rogers arrives with a baby doll and using a handkerchief, he diapers the doll and talks about the excitement created by having a baby in the house. Mr. Swenson stops by with his five-month-old son, Eric. They talk about how the baby is growing, teething and playing. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Tadpole Frogg wants to grow faster and thinks exercising will help. Nurse Miller measures Tad to find that he has indeed grown. Back at the house, Picture Picture shows a film about a 14-month-old child, Mister Rogers’ own son Jamie Rogers when he was younger. Then Jamie stops by to visit and he and Mister Rogers sing Tomorrow.
Mister Rogers puts together a doll bed and puts a sleeping baby doll to bed. Picture Picture shows a film of a “fast bed maker” and then plays the film in reverse. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine Fairchilde is trying to take Edgar Cooke’s special soft pillow when Nurse Miller arrives to settle the situation. She explains that there are some things that people should not be expected to share. Lady Elaine leaves in frustration and Nurse Miller helps Edgar know that he is not at fault. Back at the house, Mr. McFeely arrives with a teddy bear he has found. Mister Rogers recognizes the lost bear as belonging to his young friend, Becky. Mr. McFeely speeds off to return the bear to Becky, and Mister Rogers takes the baby doll to the kitchen for a bath.
Mister Rogers brings a set of nesting boxes. He shows things that fit into other things. Judy Rubin brings some pillows for Edgar Cooke. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe Edgar has locked his pillow in a safe. Dr. Marchl talks to Edgar about his feelings. Lady Elaine has found a boomerang to be her special toy.
Mister Rogers demonstrates the use of a loom and sees them being operated by Nantucket weavers. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, a string quartet plays for King Friday some music written by Haydn.
After Mister Rogers demonstrates the use of violins and violas, he invites Michael Grebanier to play his cello. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine makes a new boomerang trick which is turning everything upside down. After talking to Lady Aberlin about how she is aggravating the others, she changes her trick so that they can enjoy it. She allows King Friday to decide when and if he wants everything upside down.
