Lady Aberlin and Henrietta play to help Henrietta overcome her fears.
Mister Rogers makes a paper airplane. He shows designs for paper airplanes in a book. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Mr. Goldberg plays some Bach on the flute for King Friday. Grandpère is starting a trading tower. Lady Aberlin gives X the scarf she promised him. She trades a walnut X gives her for a chocolate bar. Then she looks for King Friday to share it with her.
Mister Rogers plays a harmonica given to him by some neighbors who have moved. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, John Reardon is singing music from Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” for King Friday. The King tells Reardon that he wants an opera on Friday. The opera is to be about missing someone. Reardon asks Mrs. Frogg about costumes and Grandpere about staff paper for writing music. He trades a song for the paper. X and Henrietta talk to him about opera.
Mister Rogers gives Honey, the baby chimpanzee, a bottle after she is brought to his house by John Rucci, the zookeeper. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Reardon auditions Donkey Hodie for the role of Prince in the opera. Mrs. Frogg supplies the costume from the Museum-Go-Round. Henrietta and X have been unsuccessful in getting Sara Saturday to come to the opera. She has to babysit. Henrietta wants to be a babysitter in the opera. Reardon is going to be Grandfather, Lady Aberlin is going to be Mother. X is going to be the stage manager.
Mister Rogers brings a cape, top hat, and opera glasses because it is opera day. Betty Aberlin visits disguised in a feather boa. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe the opera is being produced. Sara Saturday sends the King a photograph with her regrets that she can’t attend. In the opera, a baby prince misses his mother who is going out. The baby prince objects, but mother goes anyway, leaving him with his grandfather and a babysitter. They play peek-a-boo.
