He shows how to draw a calm and a rough sea. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Corney and Joey Hollingsworth are digging a well. Mr. Hollingsworth shows how a pump works. Corney gives Mr. Hollingsworth a hat with a rocking chair on top for his next selling trip. He pantomimes how he will sell rockers.
Mister Rogers pretends to be water travelling through pipes. Scientist Alder tests the well in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe and discovers that the water is drinkable. King Friday XIII drinks the water out of a goblet and a tin cup. He likes the taste of the water in the goblet best.
Mister Rogers warms some hot-dog buns in the oven. He shows how his grandmother used to toast hot-dog buns in the toaster. Chef Brockett and Mr. McFeely have grilled hot-dogs on the front porch. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, there is a fire in Corney’s factory. Thankfully there are no injuries, but he factory is ruined and Corney is very sad. Marie Torre comes to cover the fire for the news.
Mister Rogers talks about firefighters and shows a film of firefighters getting ready to go to a fire. Mr. McFeely brings a firefighter outfit to Mister Rogers who tries on this gear. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday commands Handyman to help with rebuilding the factory. Daniel tells Handyman that Corney is very sad. Lady Elaine is afraid everyone is blaming her for the fire because she is bad sometimes. Handyman assures her that no one will blame her. She helps Handyman find some important parts for rebuilding the factory.
Mister Rogers builds with Lincoln Logs. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, training gymnasts in show King Friday XIII some of their tumbling moves and exercises. The neighbors work together to rebuild Cornflake S. Pecially’s Rockit Factory.
