Mr. Rogers watches a video about mail delivery on Picture-Picture. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, John Reardon is pretending to be a mailman. He brings Daniel a letter from King Friday and Edgar Cooke who are away visiting Sara Saturday. They have decided to stay a few more days. Lady Elaine, meanwhile, wants to set up a campsite at the Castle garden without asking for permission. X doesn’t think it’s a good idea and won’t help.
Mister Rogers’ friend, Hugh Wright comes over to set up a tent and talk about camping with his family. He is on his way to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe to deliver some tents to Lady Elaine Fairchilde. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine is planning to use the tents for an opera that she is planning with Reardon. It’s hard for everyone to wait to learn more about the opera!
Chef Brockett borrows Mister Rogers’ Polaroid-style camera to take some pictures. Mister Rogers and Chef Brockett take pictures of each other and count while the pictures develop. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine is planning her own opera. Reardon is concerned because he has no idea they are going to do for an opera about camping. X is worried that King Friday won’t like what is happening in his garden while he is away. Chef Brockett volunteers to be a singing covered wagon for the opera. X wants to be Benjamin Franklin.
Mister Rogers brings some pictures of himself drawn by children. King Friday sends a royal servant to delivers a letter to Mister Rogers. He writes that he wants nothing to happen in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe without his permission while he is away. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, X and Reardon are worried about having the opera without telling the king. They call him and get his permission. In the opera, Lady Elaine owns a campsite. Ben Franklin wants to rent a tent. Lady Aberlin, as the photographer, arrives with her covered wagon to spend the night at the castle campsite. The photographer and the hobbyhorse express man meet and decide to marry. The covered wagon goes off with Ben Franklin. After the opera, Lady Elaine delays dismantling the campsite.
Mister Rogers brings a kitten named Henry in a basket. He plays with Henry and then makes a short film of Henry drinking milk. He talks about how peple make movies in the jungle and Picture-Picture shows a video of wild animals. Emilie Jacobson visits and recites a poem about cats and kittens. She and Mister Rogers remember a time when Vija Vetra danced like different cats for King Friday.
