A visit with a chimp

Mister Rogers arrives with an easel and drawing supplies and draws as he listens to music. Mr. McFeely brings a baby chimpanzee who has been misbehaving at the zoo. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Professor Joseph Fitzpatrick draws a monkey for King Friday. King Friday wants to keep the drawing for his M Room because the monkey in the picture is “bigger than the one Mister Rogers had.” Professor Fitzpatrick shows a painting by Seurat and describes the pointilist style. He sketches a similar image before he is invited for tea in the castle’s T Room. Back at the house dancer Jordeen Ivanov visits and dances.
