Mister Rogers plays a xylophone to express various moods. He goes to the studio of Jean Wilmouth, a percussionist. Mr. Wilmouth plays on the marimba, the tambourine, and the tom-tom. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Daniel is showing the magic kite how to play the xylophone. The kite tries to play. Lady Aberlin plays a sad melody because she misses the king and queen who are still on their honeymoon. The kite has a message, “They will come back Friday.” Lady Aberlin tells Robert Troll the news. He has been very sad and doesn’t believe the message. Then Edgar Cooke delivers a make-believe-gram to him. This confirms the kite’s message. Back with Mister Rogers, he talks about using play to express feelings.
