Mister Rogers arrives with a bag full of colorful caps. He describes each one and talks about what kinds of people might wear each cap. In the kitchen, Mister Rogers applies a label to the back of each cap describing the person who would wear each one and trying on the cap for a person who likes to read. Maggie Stewart stops by and sings while signing. Before she leaves, Mister Rogers shows her his caps and lets her take one with her. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, H.J. Elephant receives a bit of help from Mayor Maggie as he reads his first words. on The Reading Show. At the castle, King Friday declares that no one may use the “look inside things machine” without other people’s permission. Back at the house, Mr. McFeely stops by with a film about how people make ball caps. Before he leaves, Mr. McFeely is allowed to take one of Mister Rogers’ caps with him.
